Payment not received
I work full time hours on a part time contract and regularly work my days off but I have not received anything. On the People App I can’t even see a calculation it just says ‘There is no data to provide……’
I have spoken to my union rep, line manager, DOM, HR and I’m getting different answers and fobbed off. I contacted the union email to withdraw my claim and never got a reply back. Most of the people in my office never even did that and are getting their money when I have followed every step.
It seems it’s just me in the office that hasn’t received anything and I’m getting really frustrated as this is money legally owed and ive been fighting for for years now.
Anyone else in the same boat?
Not sure what to do

Re: Payment not received
your claims are still live thats why it says no data , the communication from the union was shite on this , and like you say you sent an email to cancel your claims , well it looks like the communications union
arent doing a very good job and not informing members that they claims have been withdrawn . disgusting imo.

Re: Payment not received
The whole thing is an absolute farce.
To be fair to RM, they have at least paid out when they said they would, and within the terms of the deal.
Blame the union on 3 fronts- a crap deal, terrible communication, and dumping their members after having encouraged them to take out claims.
As to the OP's question, all that can be said is to hope his case gets heard in court soon.
In the interim, and assuming you want your money more quickly, I would be contacting all concerned and copying in the cancellation email as proof.

Re: Payment not received
Am in the same boat.Filled out claim form as instructed by my rep and never heard anything.Only realised claim was still live when never got paid. Was then told if I wanted to continue claim CWU would not help me!!Was then told e-Mail CWU legal, which I have done twice with no reply, will have to see if I get paid this week.Would have been better off not being in union with the way this has gone.

Re: Payment not received
People can check if their claim is actually still live by contacting the Employment Tribunal at Bristol where all the remaining claims are being looked after:

Re: Payment not received
In the same boat guys!! I'm the only person in my office that bothered to put a claim in (over two years ago!), & have received sweet F.A. The rest of my colleagues have had the back payments for sitting on their behinds!!
Withdrew my claim after the first payout, in time to get paid this week (22/10) , but also had no reply from the union to say my email had been received!
Surprise, surprise just checked the App & no back pay!!
Have a love hate relationship with the union, but after this debacle I think its time to jack it in & save myself a few quid every week!!

Re: Payment not received
Same here.
I missed the 8th Oct deadline though, for this Friday (22nd) payment. Sounds like that was false deadline anyway, as people are still not receiving their money owed.
I totally agree this has been handled shockingly by the union. They wanted us to be active and submit claims, only to then leave us to chase up withdrawals forms (which most didn’t receive intially) and leave the ones still wanting to pursue a claim with no representation.
I also am finding it difficult to find out if RM have even received my withdrawal form. A confirmation would be nice!!!
I’m not expecting anything until the end of year, as RM now are in process of processing the interim payments for payment on 26th Nov!!

Re: Payment not received
I pulled my claim out before 8th October deadline and got the below back from cwu on the 14th, but surprise surprise nothing showing on holiday app or payslip for this week. False promises
The Employment Tribunal office kindly sent to us your email to them with your instructions to withdraw your holiday pay claim, which we received on the 5th of October. Accordingly, we updated our list for the Tribunal office and the Royal Mail, which will be sent to them shortly. As all parties are having to deal with around 6,000 claims, which is time consuming, we kindly ask that you allow time for your claim to be dealt with

Re: Payment not received
CWU have until 29 October to let the ET know which claims have been withdrawn and then they have to chase those who have not responded. I would guess Union members who withdrew claims will get their back pay after that.
10 test cases from the remaining claims then to be heard in April 2022.

You've had an email form Bristolet too I'm guessing?Kaning It wrote: ↑20 Oct 2021, 10:29CWU have until 29 October to let the ET know which claims have been withdrawn and then they have to chase those who have not responded. It's a confusing mess, can you make any sense of it?
Doesn't look to be that many outstanding claims, which surprised me a little.
Not much mention of unrepresented claimants, have emailed them direct for some clarification. (and mentioned they have a lot of new claims incoming).

Re: Payment not received
Having just seen the latest union statement, this weeks 2nd back payment date has now been moved to November 12th!!
This will apparently include those that have already withdrawn, & missed the first payment deadline, & any new withdrawals received by Nov 5th!!
We live in hope!

Re: Payment not received
Unrepresented appear to have been pretty much left aside for now. It’s just a load of Directions for lawyers. Nothing to do yet while they sort the current mess. While ever Tompsons stay in the game, they will do a lot of the heavy lifting in regard to legal arguments for April. Just have to be sure no deadlines are missed but none there yet.Dexydog wrote: ↑20 Oct 2021, 11:31You've had an email form Bristolet too I'm guessing?Kaning It wrote: ↑20 Oct 2021, 10:29CWU have until 29 October to let the ET know which claims have been withdrawn and then they have to chase those who have not responded. Re: Payment not received
I actually spoke to someone at Bristol just now.
The Thompson's claims are nothing to do with unrepresented cases.
I was advised to sit tight for now, and I would be kept informed on any movement, so will share on here as and when.
They had no idea of the incoming claims from people who have just been shafted-in fact I could hear an audible groan when I told her.
She was definitely aware of the general unrest, and people having withdrawn claims that haven't yet been paid.
At least for those of us taking it the whole way, we have light at the end of the tunnel now, with cases set to be heard around April next year.
