mdec pool tables
Due to the current state of the mdec pool tables, do all keyers think that the tables should be boycotted until the social club agree to recover them, bearing in mind that last year they spent 550 pounds on xmas party, 150 on summer fun day and 250 on the mdec football kit,I would be interested to hear your views on my comments.

You have a point, if that is the case then the table should be free to use until they are recovered.Or raise the price of a game to 50p on condition that the tables are recovered asap.Vim_Fuego wrote:As a matter of interest, have they caught the little scrote who has been vandalising the rec room yet? This might have some bearing on the Soc Club's reluctance to spend more money in that area.

Although I don't use the pool table, I do think the social committe should keep the pool tables in a good state of repair for those who use them.
The surplus funds from the pool table are used for all sorts of other things, however if they let the tables go into a state of disrepair, then nobody would use them, and the lack of income from people not playing would deprive the social committe even more.

FLF to the rescue!
I have just sent a quote to the finance side of FLF and a job has been raised to pay for a total recovering of the pool tables.
