what annoys me more then anything (had this happen a few times) when a customer knocks on my front door, about 10pm at night sprouting gibberishes regarding the gate not being shut by the postman, then when I politely say goodnight and shut the door, they knock again and complain that I shut the door, then complain to my dom (who happen to think it funny) that I told him to F off.
Don't mind helping anybody out but the a time and place, and being woken up by somebody isn't the right time or place

Politely say goodnight!!!!!!! I'd be tempted to rip someones head off if they called to my house to complain plus I'd just have to call to their house on my way to work to let them know how annoying it is to be woken upleiwolf wrote:what annoys me more then anything (had this happen a few times) when a customer knocks on my front door, about 10pm at night sprouting gibberishes regarding the gate not being shut by the postman, then when I politely say goodnight and shut the door, they knock again and complain that I shut the door, then complain to my dom (who happen to think it funny) that I told him to F off.

I have a few of those - but most have the courtesy to tip at crimbo ( few rather generously - all things being relative ), but the ones that p*ss me off are the ones that can't even be arsed to leave a card, or come to the door to say "Thanks" after I've shovelled another acre of Brazillian rainforest through their doorpne_postie wrote:I think there`s a couple on every walk.DirtyHarry wrote:The sad sacks who get shite every single day, no let up, every single day, you'll go up their path, up to their door, every day, every single day, with an

Mines the myriad of DIY `no more flap` letter plate restraint techniques.
- Packed with socks/towels etc.
These don't come out, they only go in, but we're not supposed to put our hands inside any letterbox so we have to push em with items of mail. The packing of course has also taken a soaking due to the rain so now they've got wet mail a flapping letterbox plate and next time a `better solution`. - Sellotape cheap
You can sometimes just see this stuff but you've managed to lift the plate regardless, with a little bit of a struggle. The trouble is this stuff won't stick again, even without the rain, so now you've got the mail in, they've got a flapping letterbox plate again and the driving rains going straight through each time the plate flaps and landing on the mail anyhow. And worse of all, next time they'll likely come up with a `better solution`. - Sellotape the real stuff
This stuff was invisible to you when you broke your finger nail trying to open the plate, now even if you can hold your temper, you cannot find the end of it, so you've resorted to the point of your pen to tear it. Problem now is that the plate wont stick back down because there's not enough length left. So you've drawn a blue biro line down their white upvc when you pushed a little bit harder than you meant, their plate's still flapping, the rains still driving in and their carpet and mails getting wet regardless. And worse of all, next time they'll likely come up with a `better solution`. - Blu-Tack
This stuff sticks like sh*t to a shovel, however there's a small gap between the plate and the box surround for leverage. So you take your pouch box keys, select one and use it to prise the plate free. After some time you finally get it to budge and it flies open all the way up and smashes off it's pins. Now their plate's been posted successfully along with their mail, no more flapping! but the rains still driving in and their carpet, staircase and mails getting wet and worse of all, next time they'll likely come up with a `better solution`. - Gaffa Tape extra strong
If your fingers ain't frozen and your nails haven't been removed by thier gate, their letterbox plate previously or their bleeding dog, and your tooled up, this stuffs still not coming off. It's raining, neither they or their neighbours will take this mail in; because they were all up until the small hours due to the incessant flapping, before they finally found some Gaffa Tape. This is a show-stopper coz you can't even put a 739 in to tell em you've taken their mail to the DO.

Endorsed as inaccessible will soon get the complaints then you explain why.* Gaffa Tape extra strong

However today I tried to deliver a special but the person in the house couldn't hear me (of course they walked straight passed the door and looked at me) but they were able to pick up the 739 and phone their mother who only lives down the road to ask for it off me (needless to say they had to come to the DO the collect it

I haven't read it here so ... I can't stand blocks of flats which have time locks that don't work!
Why does the door lock at 10am? Do burglers not get up before then?
*CUSTOMERS* phone up the owner of the block of flats and ask them to set the timer from 5am until 4pm, that way even when it's BST people can still get in (including the milkman) and no vagrants will kip in your stairwells. Problem solved.
Grrrrrr!

People who use mail guards because they have dogs but also have tons and tons of mail sent to their house every day.
Drives with around 10 inches deep of stone chips so you cant use a bike.
4" x 2" wide letterboxes but they are a spam magnet.
People who let their dogs roam free in the front garden when they are out,
Cars parked so close to the front door its a wonder how they themselves got through the door.
