Could be, but that is pretty much the case across the board. Revisions have been deployed all over the country when offices still failing/carrying vacancies. I'm just wondering what the exact criteria for postponing. Let's face it, any revision put off to next year is unlikely to ever happen.

Have any part timers seen an increase in their pay (or a reduction from 38 hours to 37 hours for full timers) on this week's pay slip? I'm a part timer on delivery, and this week's pay slip received today shows an increase in Basic Pay (before any deductions) which works out at 2.7% (which is one hour as a proportion of 38 hours).

This has happened despite our revision NOT having come into force yet - though eligible posties at our place have "signed" for revised duties, which are expected to come into force sometime in the next few weeks.

Just wondered if everyone's pay or hours have changed on their pay slips this week, nationwide, regardless of the state of their revision? I know some revisions have already been in place for a while elsewhere - were you already getting the 2.7% pay increase (for part timers) or one hour off full time hours from when your revision came into force?

Our revision was scheduled to begin several weeks ago, and part timers received the pay rise on the proposed date. But nothing changed in the office, everyone is still doing what they were before. We're understaffed (nothing to do with covid) and I suspect it's all too much for the DOM to deal with.

Because they are trying to sort out the mess they have created with the ones they have already done. Plus Xmas pressure is going to start a lot earlier this year with people being urged to shop early because of supply problems.

Any PT staff having problems with the SWW? In our office, we've all been told to take a reduction in hours. Not 1 hour (as mentioned in the SWW). In some cases its 2 or 3 hours. For doing the same job? Apparently its part of the agreement but I have a feeling its the DOM in our office interpreting the agreement to suit his plan. The union are saying "you get a pay rise to compensate you". 2.6% is about £3.50 PW and the reduction in hours could be around £20 PW. Thats a PAY CUT. Were being told that the jobs we do (day off cover) have new attendance patterns so we have to change our hours to fit. Fair enough but the FT staff that we cover, have the same workload on the same pay. Anyone else having this or is this another case of our office being a "bit special"

Is the manager saying you have to work your contracted hours with zero overtime or are they triyng to reduce your contracted hours?

Theyre trying (and succeeding) to reduce our contracted hours. Overtime is unlikely to be a problem once the SWW kicks in.

Well that isn't allowed, get the union involved and get it stopped.

Depending on the wording of your contract they can change the amount of hours you work in a day but not the amount of hours you work in a week.

No revision now planned at our office, just a light touch, tidy up of new builds. Still not happening until the new year.
