So our office went from a structural revision(which in fairness seemed awful and done by someone with no clue about the office) to a tabletop revision.

Just adding bits to certain walks while others get nothing. Won't be remotely fair in the end but enough good duties for the rep and his buddies no doubt.

My question is are the walks that aren't changing at all able to be kept out of the re-pick of duties ? I feel like I've read that rule on here before but wasn't sure how true it was and if it was a union agreement or a royal mail thing.
I believe that the threshold for a re-pick is if 30% of duties have had a significant change

If anyone is interested CWU Leeds have produced three short videos on youtube about Sheepscar DO Structural revisions
starring Mark Baulch CWU:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-pcMG0_kSw (1)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R37agB2n-Ks (2)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8yz72pxbEg (3)
Cheers yellow, just watched them now. It seems as though resourcing is the main issue there, but it backs up my comment from earlier in this thread about the importance of the Posties input in the revisions. But where is the time or even opportunity to do this?
Instead of these revisions being rushed through, why can't we have time to do them properly?

Had a postie flip out 2 & a bit days into his rerouted walk, after being told to “tie it up & see how you go” bit of shouting & slamming things around & he was escorted off the premises by the DOM, hopefully he’s not in any trouble, he’s quite mild mannered bloke normally :confused

What had they done to his walk? I assume added a lot? What was the walk like to begin with?

He never claims O/T, sometimes went over & some early finishes, took one loop off & gave him two in return, half a frame of double slots & part timer on later start

We aren't even close to ours yet.Not even agreed what shift pattern the office will get.(structural revision)
Can't pick AL as per national agreement because it's taking so fecking long.
If ST thinks every office is going to be done by Oct he's living a fantasy.

Yesterday morning I received a text telling me my Tracked parcel was in the DO and was due for delivery 6/10.
I had a quick look but couldn't find it so I assumed it was already on a van.
No parcel arrived.
This morning I went to check again. A colleague was sorting parcels. He informed me all yesterdays failures were "over there".
I kid you not there was a cemetery of 500 -1000 parcels. Including Tracked and including flowers. And apparently including mine.
Still don't have it. Impossible to find it in my own delivery office.

As part of the structured revision process all offices should have someone to have a banner made to put over the office door.
Abandon hope all ye who enter here.

I am embarrassed to work for Royal Mail.
I am embarrassed to be a member of the CWU.
