As I understand it, regardless of whether you have a claim in with ACAS, the period we are currently in will be paid to everyone.worktotime wrote: ↑05 Oct 2021, 21:09so the letters the cwu was sending out for people to cancel e/t claims was they just for the last 2 years or for any more claims in the futurethe agreement going forward as to be honest i had claims in and i cant remember if i slung my letter in the bin, so is there anyway i can find out if my claims are still going as i am no longer a union member , cheers
You would then have to open a new claim with ACAS for this I would imagine, as if you crap out on one of months this would then mean no payment for April to September this year.
I'm not in the union so no idea what they've done/are doing with regards the previous 2 years.
What I do know is the deal they agreed is a farce.
Frankly I wouldn't trust the union to negotiate at a car boot sale.
In your case, if you dont get a payment this week, your case is probably still open and is being dealt with at Bristol Court this or maybe next month.
I'm not expecting any money for the last 2 years for a good while yet.
The current period I know for a fact I don't qualify, so will be opening another claim in November once that's confirmed, as that's when we get paid for this period.
