Believe this may have something to do with a Postman talking to journalist about the daily failures in there office, the focus from managers on parcels and Postman telling journalist there is work in office from two weeks ago.
Could be interesting

or in other words THE TRUTH!
The truth isn't allowed in royal fail. Managers tried conducting me for telling a business customer why their mail was failing or turning up massively late everyday.
You're kidding. What do they think this is, North Korea?
Wish I was. Tried charging me with bringing the company into disrepute.
By telling the truth.

Balls, i missed it. That'll teach me for having time off and having a lie in.

I had to watch the last hour on mute while eating breakfast. The news is unbelievably toxic, it's no wonder those who are at home every day are insane.

Royal Mail don’t give a s**t about letters anymore. As long as we get the tracked delivered they’re happy. We even raised this point at a recent WTL, when someone asked “what about hospital letters and birthday cards getting delayed?” Their answer was if you can’t get round prioritise tracked.

I just fast forwarded it too and nowt there.

My guess is there was too much going on today, what with the army called in to deliver fuel, the Chancellor saving the economy :left: and the Met Police imploding and they'll keep the piece on us (If there is one) for a slower news day.

Maybe they'll sit on it another month even, so they can once again blame us posties for attempting to sabotage
Christmas :no no
Sooner or later, a beat dog bites.

Perhaps Simon has got the overworked RM legal beagles to put a spanner in the works for a right to reply?

Our office has gone from clearing every day to 50% at best thanks to a rushed through revision with seemingly no testing or checking of the changes. Absolute shambles

Like many others i'm of the opinion it's a deliberate ploy to hasten the end of the USO

The argument for removing a day from the USO has always been there isnt enough work rather than theres too much work though
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next

I wonder how these structural revisions would factor into a reduction in the USO?

I'd imagine they just think the regulator is a soft touch at the moment. Attitudes will change, if and when they start getting fined again.

That said, it might be their plan to show that as long as premium products went out, customers weren't too bothered that they were getting a second third class letters service. Ultimately the minimum terms of the USO will change eventually, but Royal Mail can't just ignore the USO forever without repercussions, and it's certaintly not for RM to decide that unilaterally.
