To add to the injury from April we will have to chip in an extra 1.25% as NIc goes up too.
1.25 percentage points. Equates to nearly 10% more national insurance contributions per year for some.
I must have missed that crucial details. This is going to be quite significant for most. Unless your household income is in the region of 100k annually. I reckon we will get SWW and CWU will announce it as a big pay rise as hourly rate will slightly go up but as a full time posties will earn £0.00 more than now.

The DOs would probably run a lot better if a lot of the managers leave, I know our area runs a lot smoother when our line manager isn't there. Most of them aren't worth what they're paid at the moment.
Once everyone has headed out on their walks, why does RM have more than 1 manager in the office? If they were made "Team Leaders" then they could also be sent out on delivery

None will leave. They would never get a managerial job currently paying the salaries RM pay.
Most of them wouldn’t get a managerial job elsewhere full stop & if they did they’d be found out within a month!!

None will leave because they wouldn't get a managerial job anywhere else. I've spoken to my new managers a few times about what goes on in royal fail and how OPG's are treated and they just look back at me open mouthed with shock written all over their faces.

Simple Simon should be giving them a pay cut not a cost of living pay rise, they are fuc£ing useless and incompetent and always will be.
Not to mention all the early finishes a lot of them get...
Must be their sww, so they have got a rise just like us. Only it's much more than an hr usually (a day, not week too).

As already said, unfortunately none will leave because of this, absolutely no chance of most of them securing a job on the same pay and minimum effort required.

I don't think too many OPGs in my office would be shedding any tears if a couple of our bullies walked because they thought RM weren't paying them well enough for some of the antics they get up to.

I think it's because to play pool in the canteen you need more then 1 person.

Are you sure you didn't mean less than 1? There's no postie quite as hell-bent on going home early as ex-posties that became managers.
The machine stops.

Apart from the DOM how many would there be? I'm guessing just 2 maybe 3 depending on if the CSP is separate from the SD locker

We have 4 line managers in addition to the DOM. This in an office of about 80 walks. Line managers have nothing to do with the CSP or SD locker. That’s OPG work.

I mean the total number of staff in the office once all the walks have headed out

No one will employ incompetent, bullying, useless management. We will be stuck with them.
