Big Trust Survey
Our Office is to conduct a Trust Check - in regard to the previous Trust Survey, which had bad results.
The action plan from previous survey has been displayed and filled in but the next steps have not been carried out at all after 2/3 months.
So the question is what is the point?
All this talk from higher management sounds great but on shop floor the message is literally non existent. The DOM does not care about the next steps, has no desire to improve trust score and zero enthusiasm to carry anything out.
Previous have your say surveys were never acted upon and this one was supposed to be different, but its even worse. The hope for change has gone. Things will not be changing
With the Trust Check-In what is the ramifications if no body fills it in? Do managers require a certain response rate?
At moment i do not see the point, they obviously do not care so why should we fill out their surveys?

Re: New trust survey
We filled 2 in ,still waiting on the feedback. Iv been there 8yrs and all i see is disorder, no motavation, lack of how too manage,(managers getting s**t from all sides) . DOM more concered that staff hav got masks on or hi vis and then chatting crap. Our office and appears most acroos country are in s**t . Maybe to do with Rm cant use Covid as excuse no more. Double mail and non tracked parcels when u hav day off. Also since van sharing, weve had to leave stuff behind as van is overflowing (next manager to say we used to do before covid. Yer when we had hardly any post or packets im going to thump)
(got no probs sharing van.) Enjoy my job but i dont like the stress for paygade. Ive startedlooking as i just see it getting worse. Anyway my rant over.

Re: New trust survey
A DOM
Just a quick note on the Trust Survey.
********** had a 97% response rate in March and currently sit at 86%.
And it’s really simple. I noticed in March that some of my staff didn’t use smartphones and would struggle to complete the survey. So I gave them my phone to use.
Then I thought “ why not do that with everyone” as I know that many promise with good intentions but life gets in the way.
So 90% of my staff in March and this time had my phone handed to them with a “why don’t you do it now. It’ll only take a couple of minutes”.
I know *** ********* in ********* had the same idea and he is getting great results for a big unit too.
Just a thought but we’ll worth it
Another DOM
Well done ********, we have done the same in ********** and are already ahead of the last total number!

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: New trust survey
We never got any feedback from the last one. Remember them "culture visits" from the higher ups 2 or 3 years ago, we never got any feedback from that eitherwazer wrote: ↑25 Sep 2021, 18:41We filled 2 in ,still waiting on the feedback. Re: New trust survey
The idea of the DOM taking his idiot-phone around the DO is not as daft as it sounds. RM assume everyone lives in the Tech Age... we don't. They keep bleating about downloading Apps (like every other bloody organisation in the World)!
The Free Flu jab voucher is another example! "No need for you to print a voucher (Good)
Now you can can just take your idiot-phone to the Pharmacy with a 2D barcode" (Bad)
Here's an idea send every postie a "Paper" voucher through the mail, with their payslip.
Although nobodie's confirmed it the DOMs are obviously on some kind of bonus scheme with this Survey, or they wouldn't be pushing it so hard. Everytime he comes around my DO we just say "It's not compulsory, so we don't have to do it". Then follows the usual BS about nothing's going to change if you don't let us know what's wrong ... It's your chance to have a voice ..... We can concentrate on what needs to improve etc etc. All BS .....Jog On I've got two duties to prep!

Re: New trust survey
They wouldn't need to put it inside the RM App which you have to login to, they could just stick an app or link to it on the AndroidSpacePhoenix wrote: ↑19 Oct 2021, 19:42then they'd know who said whatyellowbelly wrote: ↑19 Oct 2021, 16:36Has it not occurred to them to make it available through that device we all carry round on delivery - what'sPOSTMAN wrote: ↑17 Oct 2021, 20:40A DOM

'desktop' (or whatever the proper term is) when you minimise the RM App, so no personal details would be processed.
But then again that would probably be too much for the IT dept.
