New trust survey

Post by trouble »

The managers have been going round the staff individually taking us into the office to fill in the survey claiming that they are mandatory, surely this isn't correct. :no no
Don't want to sound pessimistic but a number of us are under the impression that the managers are filling some of these in themselves especially judging by some of the comments that came from the last survey. ;liar
What is the point of these surveys as nothing is ever done.
The action plans are only filled out a day or too before next survey starts complete joke and waste of time as nothing changes.
Is this the same in every office or is our office unique 🤔

The more they get filled out the bigger their bonus , which is why we should refuse to fill them in .

It is indeed part of many companies management KPI ( known performance indicators) that are assessed at the manager's appraisal.

It is gross misconduct in most companies if any employee trust / survey forms are filled in by management.

It is the same as false reporting.

A manager would be unwise to fill one in as the employee or influence what an employee fills in.

He came round and tried talking us in to doing it. He was met with the apathetic response he got last time. I think in the end it was done by casuals.

How can you call something a trust survey if you don’t trust the results or the manager to be honest about anything.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

If as Simon says they are acting on the findings - why have so many managers still got jobs?
Are the P45s in the post?

I have only ever trusted one manager in my entire 12 year career so far, the other 20 I did not

What happened to the last one, once again it seems we are going down the same journey survey after survey with no action taken or changes. They wanted us to highlight the issues.........but how many times do you have to do it. False promises again...waste of time.

He seems to like putting up stuff from this board that makes this forum look like it's a bunch of moaners BUT yet to see this so called super duper CEO Simon put any screenshots up of the posts on here from OPG's having mental breakdowns because HIS company and companies managers treat the staff like $h1t on a daily basis and aren't fit to run a bath never mind a DO.

Seems to be a typical royal fail director/manager, just sweeps the $hit under the carpet so no one can see it and portrays to the rest of the world only the good stuff with the usual PR bull cr@p.

Would love to see this clown do undercover boss, would get the shock of his life at how p!ss poor the company is run and the appalling treatment staff have to endure.

Come on Simon put your money where your mouth is.

KPI (known key performance indicators)
Sorry, but I just wanted to fix that because I've dealt with KPIs in my previous jobs as a manager and wanted to make others aware what it means.

Key Performance Indicator

Carry on. :thumbup :chuckle

Yes, you are quite right. Half dozing when I posted same.

I too am used to K P I performance, joined RM after redundancy to keep me focussed.

I was in for a shock with the calibre of management.

No management competencies what so ever apart from one decent guy.

You would have thought Collaborative, planning for instance would at least be evident.

Fail to plan, plan to fail....

I have come across reasons for role such as " Got sick of walking around so applied for this job ..."

Green, amber, red....one knows what category most would fall into.

I doubt if the area management population are much better....

Surely the CEO, with no doubt his management courses, diplomas, Henley etc can see this?

Or choose not to....
