An MP has been talking to Royal Mail in a bid to end a strike by staff at a Stoke-on-Trent sorting office.
Workers at the Burslem sorting office have been on strike since 18 December over the suspension of nine colleagues.
Stoke North MP Joan Walley said it was essential that talks continued between managers and union leaders.
The industrial action, which affects about 32,000 homes and businesses in the ST6 postcode, is planned to go on until 16 January.
The dispute dates back to September when 12 members of staff were suspended over allegations of bullying and harassment.
Three were later reinstated.
Royal Mail drafted in about 200 managers to try and ensure post was still delivered to people over the Christmas period.
