and MORE WORK collecting covid tests and on XMAS DAY TOO as we like a good laugh at ruining people's Xmases up here in cloud cuckold land.
We will continue giving you MORE WORK delivering prescriptions, we dont see why people should have to do anything if we can remedy the slight inconvenience by dishing out MORE WORK.
We have improved out Parcel collect service by making the customer do EVEN LESS and making you WORK EVEN MORE with the potential of NO END OF WORK to do.
Our new RM app will give us the opportunity increase TRUST AT THE DOORSTEP by something we wont tell you about until it's too late. (Hint MORE WORK)
And if you think we have forgotten our colleagues in the CPs and call centres think again, MORE WORK in the shape of longer hours all round for you lot.

We normally have 4 managers sitting around drinking coffee when we leave. Can they not be 'allowed' to clear the office? They're apparently not allowed too. Surely if we're all in it together......
When we leave the yard we’re normally being passed by the linos and DOM bringing their cars up into the yard from the multi storey in order to get free parking till they stroll out the door at 1pm or whenever it is (God knows what they actually do until then?!)
Soo demoralising heading out for a 5 hour delivery (5 hours FULL on) with a RAMMED full van knowing that the managers getting paid more than us for no where near the hard work are also getting free parking.
Those near/at the top haven't got a scooby doo about how hard OPGs work and what's really happening in depots, especially since the pandemic began ~18 months ago. Basing all these revisions on basically pre-pandemic parcel levels is utter incompetence. It's going to be a winter of discontent at Royal Mail, Simon wondering why the revisions aren't working and OPGs wondering when they get spandex suits including capes along with super hero training to complete what Simon thinks we should be easily doing each working day.

A couple of roads on the bolt on delivery in my office finally received their first delivery of the week today. Hospital Appointments, Birthday cards all amongst it. Royal Mail is an absolute shambles. That letter i got this morning just proves they haven't got a clue. Harping on about us taking stickers out for customers to put on their packets. Customers are shunning parcel collect. We cannot be trusted to turn up and collect them. Who wants to wait in all day just so we 'may' turn up to collect? And these managers are being paid a fortune to come up with these stupid ideas!

I get what your saying, but all I see on delivery are people who barely leave the house and constantly order s**t they don’t need, give it 5 years and they will close the schools down and teachers will zoom the whole class, it is only going to get worse for us and a whole lot better for people who work from home.
Totally agree I’ve been saying it for ages. Full of doll dossers who sit on their arse all day ordered s**t on their benefits because nothing else to do. It’s the same names every single day, multiple parcels every single day of the week.
I forgot a special for one of them one of the days, god knows how I never normally do. I went back and just before I got there the contents fell out of the Amazon packaging - guess what it was…

I suspect the B&H will get turned up a notch now as no doubt DOMs will be under pressure to make sure the office is clear
let them get on with it as you still have a finish time regardless of what the clowns say , the job is and has gone backwards , but you never know pullinger and his cronies might come out of hiding soon to maybe speak to there wage paying members about all the shite the company have been saying about all delivery staff , but i wont hold my breath

When I returned from delivery on Saturday I approached my manager and said as per the letter I wished to help clear the office.
She just laughed and said it would take a darn sight more than me to clear the office.
Probably the equivalent of 9/10 full duties plus untold non Tracked parcels.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Besides all that managers shouldn’t be doing OPG’s work anyway, union agreement.

RM must be one of a few companies who've not moved over from having managers over to having "Team Leaders" (basically like a manager but they do the same work as those they're in charge of). Probably Team Leaders would get a normal workers wage + some sort of leadership allowance
