Hello, i'm just trying to get some facts / information on what i've been told.
I was with the Royal Mail for 6 months untill this year when i decided i had to leave to be there for my Sick wife., and i'd love to come back to being a post person at my local delivery office. I was good at the job, knew most of the duties in the office, got on well with pretty much everyone - even our last manager! i think anyways Before i left he had supported me threw the loss of my mum
Well after this things are now better and quitting is turning into a terrible decision i'd like to go back! I Haven't got a problem with starting at the bottom again, on less pay for a year, even taking a part time contract for now, etc etc.
But i've now been told that you appartently can't rejoin for a whole 2 years? Is this correct?!
If anyone has information on the matter please share.

Yes I believe there is a 2 year rule in place from leaving to coming back again i'm afraid.

Re: want to come back
Nope. People have come back in less than a month.
2 years is if you've had a payoff.
