We want to be paid the same hourly rate as a full timer.
Or, I'll have an hour be taken off MY week and be paid the same as I am now.
Please don't be confused.
Ahh that makes more sense, sorry if I picked you up wrong.

Threaten the dumb f***s with an industrial tribunal based on The Part-time Workers (Prevention of Less Favourable Treatment) Regulations 2000.

Im not part-time but I work with a part-timer who often complains why they are still only getting paid pro-rata for both prepping and delivering D2Ds. Also, one or two newer posties got their hours increased up to 30 (I think) even though he is still only on 26 hours and has work there for well over 10 years

Surely it goes on seniority when increasing contractual hours??

1. There is no payment for prepping or delivering D2D for full-time or part-time.

2. Yes it should go on seniority.

Contact Area Rep
Why ?
What are they doing ?
What have they been doing, for years?
What use is there in contacting anyone in this company.

If he got over looked and other part timers got their hours increased before him he should kick up if he wants his hours increased that is as the proper protocol wasn't followed, easy win for cwu rep to get his hours increased

All reserves are getting shafted in regards to SWW.

Th idea in my office is that duty holders get a long weekend every 5 weeks instead of every 6 weeks. This is done by having the working day made slightly longer and then have 2 days off (friday and saturday) in the 5th week.

But reserves never get a long weekend so they're essentially working 38 hours plus every week.

CWU and DOM have gone quiet all of a sudden.

Our office has no rep and the manager is going round telling everyone the next hour reduction is coming of the start time yet again no other option and he's implementing it ASAP.

Is this right as duties over times already and nothing coming of them?

Should he not be contacting cwu HQ about his plans?

Does this go to a vote with the staff and can we stop it?

Where does it say the hours reduction has to come of start time as manager claiming?

Manager wants to save hours by not filling empty duties stating the next hour of has to be self funded is this true?

Mail arrival times not changed, staff paid overtime for ips. Manager thinks he above national agreements and he can do whatever he wants. Complete joke.
This sounds like we’re talking about POSTMAN EDIT Office here.
