Hello. I’ve been offered a job via email and got told to send over all essential documents. Gave them everything they need but haven’t been told what to do next. Anyone else in the same situation or know what to expect? Need to know as want to inform current employer but want to make sure I’ve got the job first.
Thank you!

You probably do have the job, but don't quit yet, Royal Mails recruitment is glacial and it could be some time before the official offer drops.

Re: Had interview got job offer that’s it!
Was the offer made via email or over phone?
I recently started with Royal Mail and I received a phone call.
Was told to give my 2 weeks required notice to current employer and my pre-employment checks were done in these 2 weeks.
The day before I was scheduled to start at Royal Mail I received an email to say all checks were successful.
I did have to wait ages before I received offer though... About 3weeks after interview.
