Hi all,
Had my second vaccine dose this morning and feel achy and a bit run down. Was my day off today and due to return tomorrow but unsure i'll be able to go in feeling like this.
Was just wondering what happens if I can't go in? My attendance record had been good for years but had a couple of absences this year(Non Covid related) Mainly down to minor injuries. Was concerned I could either trigger or come close to triggering a stage if I feel too unwell to attend tomorrow. Does any one know the policy or have a link to any rules regarding feeling unwell after a jab? A few people from work seem to think that it doesn't go on your sick record if it is Covid related. Is this correct? I have the appointment email from today if they needed to see proof. Thanks

Side effects and sickness from a Coronavirus vaccination : Does the absence get recorded as a Covid absence ( not part of the attendance procedure) or a normal absence that 'could' lead to a warning

Quite common I would imagine I was exactly the same after my 2nd jab sore arm and felt very weak off work for 3 days only absence for 2Yrs though apparently it effects over 50's, more so my manager fine and understanding with it

I had a fever/shivers during the night on the day I took the jab. I took an additional day off to recover from the fever but I felt fatigued the day after when I decided to go back into work. I'm glad my strength has somewhat returned today. I do not look forward to booster jabs if I'm honest. The management were pretty understanding. Shouldn't be an issue.
