So, I wanted to end with something that is magical. Something that is uniquely ours, cannot be bought no matter how much
money you have and has been built over the last few hundred years.

It is the relationship our team have with our customers at the doorstep. A postie that is friendly, helpful, and professional has an enormous
impact on how the customers feel about our service. It's magical, it's defendable, and it is uniquely ours.

This relationship is priceless. It's something that we have. It's also a relationship that will power our growth.
And for the rest of our team, whether in our processing plants, vehicle maintenance, facilities,
cleaning our facilities, they all have a critical role in making sure our posties can deliver a wonderful
service at the doorstep every day.

Owning trust at the doorstep is our mission. So just to wrap up, we are inventing Royal Mail for the next generations.
And as I said, our mission is to own that trust to the doorstep. There are three key pillars that we focus on, being brilliant for customers, having trusted relationships everywhere and growing our business.

And of course, our ticket to play, improving our productivity in a harmonious way. I have to say it's really, really great to be here. It is a privilege to be the CEO of Royal Mail and as full on as it is at times, I have to say it's also great fun.

The first six months have gone in the blink of an eye, but I
must say my strong sense is I think we're doing rather well. And importantly, we're doing rather well
together. We are changing and it is working.

Any "trust" on the doorstep has been earned by the individual posties, not some bloke who is totally detached from the reality of the job. We are the friendly, smiling face despite the crap that management and the company continually throw at us!
