Bank Holiday
Hey everyone. If the new years day bank holiday gets moved to Monday 3rd January, will we still have to work Saturday 1st January? Or will we have the Saturday and Monday off? Thanks

Re: Bank Holiday
In other words we get the Saturday & Monday off. Saturday becomes an inservice day with Monday the Bank Holiday subject to approval by ofcom (if it hasnt already been approved)
Now the bit that causes infighting / small print
If u r scheduled to work Sat, you get the day off & paid. If its ur day off, you get the day off, no pay.
Monday is the Bank Holiday so everyone (except for the choosen few) are off. If u r scheduled to work Monday u r off & paid. If its ur day off u get a couple of options (1) get a day credited to ur annual leave, (2) get an alternative paid day off during the week (might be 2 weeks), (3) Get it paid as o/t.
