Going in with a colleague for support re fact facing interview , no reps available.
Am I permitted to take notes etc or merely to observe ?

Yes of course you can, and if you have a memory like a fish, like me, ask if you can record on your phone because of said memory and poor handwriting etc etc....

Put the meeting off till the union rep is available, I tried to record a meeting with a manager and he said it wasn't allowed, I've had meetings with this c--t of a manager before and his summary when you get it is totally different to what was actually said, so therefore refuse to sign anything as the facts are not correct and are not a true reflection of what was actually said, I hope that helps.
