I've always thought it odd that you can't log out from the Home page.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Re: Random 2 : A Very Shady Sequel

Missed out on a free one, gutted.
Shall I tell them about the numbers being wrong...
I genuinely can't be bothered to search for the correct figures.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Well, that was a fun time off.
Back into the country and back to the grind again.

Re: Random 2 : A Very Shady Sequel
It wasn’t playing ball today Simon Thompson... I was going to ask re investment vs costs point, if we want to keep an eye on costs (understandable and critical) … why are we extending opening hours in CE specifically as opposed to investing in better tech solutions to allow customers to access us in smarter ways to help supply our customer service offerings..
I grateful to have a job since the last review, but I’m just not sure how I (or my team) will cover the extra hours physically without dropping balls, failing on performance management, missing critical engagement sessions, etc…. in trying to achieve cover across the opening hours.
I’m on a Joint Working Group to look at a solution … however… it’s a struggle!

A few hours ago, Great Britain beat Chile in the two teams' opening game of the Women's Football, Tokyo Olympics 2020 (July-August 2021):

Re: Random 2 : A Very Shady Sequel
The Guardian is famous for its mistakes and subsequent corrections but I especially liked this one in today's edition.
This article was amended on 27 July 2021. It was the France v South Africa match that ended 4-3, not France v Mexico as a previous version said. André-Pierre Gignac’s age had also been corrected from 51 to 35 shortly after first publication; this unwittingly spoilt the writer’s joke and the original has been restored.

Had that thing again today where I scanned a packet on the driveway and the car doors beeped open.

How disappointing would it be to be visited by a UFO and find out it was just a billionaire w****r from another planet?
