Fully vaccinated people will no longer have to self isolate if a close contact tests positive for covid from the 16th August. Just curious what Royal Mail policy might be after this date. Will someone who has refused the vaccine through no genuine medical reason still be entitled to be fully paid for the 10 days isolation and have the absence discounted from the attendance procedure? and should they?
Fully vaccinated myself but I know at least 2 people I work with who have chosen not to have the vaccine.

Re: August 16th
I suspect once the final final restrictions are lifted probably early August that the ceasefire will end as far as all coronavirus absences are concerned.
That means if you aren't sick yourself you aren't getting sick pay and if you're off sick for any reason you're sick end of story. Any isolation will be on your own time whether it's annual leave or unpaid.

When that happens, be prepared to see staff coming in, even if they've tested positive as they'll probably be wanting to avoid a stageWoody Guthrie wrote: ↑07 Jul 2021, 20:49I suspect once the final final restrictions are lifted probably early August that the ceasefire will end as far as all coronavirus absences are concerned.
