Angard Pay Rise 28/6/21

Post by Lockardian »

Due to changes within Royal Mail (the OPG grade RM staff now work a 37-hour week as opposed to a 38-hour week), Angard’s hourly rate has been adjusted to accommodate this. Effectively this works out as an increase in our hourly rates, by about 30-40p per hour.

There’s no change to overtime rates, but these now kick in after 37 hours.

All staff should receive a new rate card - but if this doesn’t materialise email Angardpayroll.queries@reed.com

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

This week’s wages (paid today, 2nd July) should be paid at the new rates. There won’t be any back money as the change only happened this week.

My night shift rate has gone up 40p per hour.
