Management, what a bunch of clowns. This is the stark warning which should be issued to Royal Mail's mis-management team:

Bully, harrass, or intimidate, any employee, and the mail grinds to a halt. The service NEEDS US, much more than it needs YOU. :cool

This is the same company that Leighton spouted on about beating the workplace bullies and it having a `macho culture?`

I laughed my cotton socks at RM's Stonewalling & Defensive Statement . We all know the outcome of all RM enquiries & investigations is to a foregone conclusion. Spin that would embarrass Alaistair Campbell.

It makes me laugh when we are told not to be negative because that style must be one of the most negative styles going , nothing positive about their staff whatsoever , sorry those clowns parrot out our people when on auto-prompt .

Leighton's style was a popular one in the 80's but it was started by those two brothers from IBM , trouble was people jumped ship and started their own like Compaq etc . FUD -fear ,uncertainity & doubt , lots of idle rumours and spin & hype , he commands and the rest are controlled . To be fair noone is immune from it .

Big AL is only too keen to tell us how he learnt off other people , maybe he has houses in Banana Republics or the back end of beyond in South America , where they have ways of getting desired answers to set questions .

Trouble is with Leighton on £965,000 and Archie Andrews on £985,000 + £2.2 million in bonuses for hitting targets in 2005 , those idiots must be laughing all the way to the bank . Board & Senior Mgt bonuses went up from £4.3 million to £7.4 but profits went down to £22 million, this wouldn't happen elsewhere but it's RM & you need a "suspension of reality ".

.
And this is the Big point, if these enquiries & investigations were fair it would engender a more positive attitude every where in the Company.
