How on earth are they going to reduce ad-hoc overtime at the same time as bringing in unworkable revisions??
Ours is gonna be a total shambles- walks not even completing now have had an hour put on them in quite a few cases.
Just what are they thinking?
Then why is the Rep / Area Rep Signing it off

As far as I know it hasn't been yet.
As is usual we've heard sweet FA for last few weeks.
All we we have is a wall full of maps with the new walks written on them.
3 of them are designated to be 5 hours long- the planner's answer/reasoning/plain lie, "we'll get you out earlier".
That's the moment we knew it was a stitch up.

I imagine they will have to dip further into their 'culture' budget. You know, put pressure on some staff to complete impossible tasks. Same as it ever was....

Our office seems to go from one extreme to another

From allowing mail and packets mount up for days on end before Xmas to recruiting dozens of agency workers. Now if there is work to be delivered and the regulars can't/won't do it - just ring the agency. Who cares about the budget anymore?

Happy days for the Royal Mail operational management team.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.
