The leadership of the CWU will do as it sees fit regardless of the opinions of those of us who think alliances and deals with the moral pygmies of the CMA should never be entered into. My own view is that those who have taken the thirty pieces of silver and decided they are not their brothers keeper should be cast aside as the worthless creatures they are and that the rank and file of the CWU or any other union should look after their own interests, and those of their class. It's well documented on here and just pop into ANY front line office and talk to ANY Blue Shirt about RM Managment at that level.
It's a very sad state of affairs that a business this bloody big has a serious 'Them and us' culture.
I know of frontline managers who despise other front line managers because they are that bad and nasty.
This is a shame because it hold the business back,but it's the reality of it all.

Does anyone know if the trainee managers got the £150 xmas bonus? in my office two trainee managers who supported the dispute were rowed out, we are currently pursuing a discimination argument against the business against members taking part in industrial action. Find out if any of your members on the TMS ...if they scabbed did they get the bonus, if they supported the dispute, did they get treated differently than other managers.
