I bet you are one of those types that write out xmas cards to all your customers and expect a tip.............be thankful you get anything at all!
I've still got to finish writing my cards out ( I'm trying to personalise to as many customer names as I can remember.....never again ), and while I have expectations based on last years total.....whatever I am given, I try to be as effusive with my thanks as I can be ( whether £20 or £0.20 ) When I worked as a Saturday boy at a butchers, I felt a greater warmth of gratitude for getting 50p from old Mrs Gudgeon, that I did for getting £10 for Mrs Smith that walked down for her turkey, cos she couldn't be bothered finding a parking space for her BMW.

I would be grateful for 50p - my council estate walk has garnered me exactly 1 Christmas card (with no tip)
One of the hardest deliveries in my old delivery office was the school houses on harrow on the hill i once asked the duty holder why he did this delivery as he was a 20 year man.
His reply was that the xmas tips off his walk were fantastic sometimes upto a £1000 when you think this was 10 years ago this is a lot of money to be getting when it is needed most.
Also i will chuck this one in who as given there postman a tip this year i aint seen him as he arrives at all times but when i meet him next there is a fiver here for him.

I did a detour when I was out on delivery on Monday & went down to our local sorting office & gave our postie a fiver.

If every household on my walk gave me 50p that would be over £250, £220 more than I've been given this year. Be grateful for small mercies, they say.

You would make a brilliant replacement for Leighton or Crozier as you exhibit both greed and complacency with a complete lack of humility. That old dear has shown you respect by giving what she can afford - if it's too little for you then give it to a charity or someone who won't get a Christmas this year.

On the other hand, 50p may reflect your true worth.
