PENSIONS SECTION ON CWU WEBSITE

Post by lovejoy »

Dear Colleague,

CWU Web-site – Royal Mail Pension Consultation

As has been reported during the recent regional pension seminar, the Union web-site now contains access to various items of information associated with the Royal Mail Pension Scheme and the current consultation exercise.

Additionally, the web-site contains a pensions modeller which has been developed by the Union’s advisors, First Actuarial, which will enable members to input their own personal data to obtain a pensions forecast.

Access to the above should be available from the 22nd December and could all branches please ensure that this information is given the widest circulation.

Any enquiries please contact the DGS (P) Department quoting reference 67000.

Regards,

Dave Ward
Deputy General Secretary (P)

Presumably the forecast will be with Royal Mail changes in place - very good planning that - it's only 3 weeks to the close of consultation so you'll know how much you are going to lose in very good time. Or am I being too cynical here - maybe the leadership would like to publish how much they are likely to lose under the new scheme - or not.
