Same there with me Johnypick. Only, it got rather too dark too quickly for my liking. Still, mustn't grumble I suppose, as I did get a bottle of something or other from one of me customers. :dance

great morning, staff in last night did a great job for us and we were out in the dark for a change - boss had us all at the front of the office and thanked us all for the work we've put in (bought us all a breakfast on thursday as well :nana ) Covered most delivery points and finished around 12:15. A few nice tips and presents from customers and now time to relax 'til thursday - no day off this week, it fell on boxing day but can't complain 'cos it's fallen well for me in previous years.
Hope all you folks have a well deserved rest and a very happy Christmas.

Postman - you and Teebs, Rocky and JohnnyPick should shut down the site for two days now and have a decent break - you've served us so well this last year and deserve a round of applause :Applause :Applause :Applause :Applause :Applause
We wish to serve - but we will not be servile

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
