The good thing is you will get a signiture that it has been deliviered and then could sue (small claim's court) the addresse of reciveing good's which have not been paid for ie STOLEN!.Fishyfingers wrote:Some help please,i sold something on Ebay was paid via paypal everything seamed ok i sent it Special Delivery today got home from work and had a email from paypal saying there was a problem with the payment and not to send the item, now that it's in the system is there anyway of stopping it getting delivered.

OH, YES YOU CAN!...... AND I'VE DONE IT!Fishyfingers wrote:Some help please,i sold something on Ebay was paid via paypal everything seamed ok i sent it Special Delivery today got home from work and had a email from paypal saying there was a problem with the payment and not to send the item, now that it's in the system is there anyway of stopping it getting delivered.

I contacted the D.O in London at 4 am and spoke directly to the dom.
The situation you are in is identical to what I have experienced.
I gave my name, pay number and location. I recited the S.D number on the package and the address and recipients name.
I left my mobile number with the dom and I was called back 2 hours later. The package was grounded in the D.O. and I recieved it back the next morning. The package I sent was worth £500.00 - a state of the art mobile phone.
I hope you are just as fortunate........ Good Luck on this one. Let us know how you go on.
All the best.

Short answer is, technically you can't but thats down to the 'no one can interfere with the mail except the secretary of state' but where a crime is being committed a DO might assist you if you explain what has happened. The office might help, customer services will probably read from a standard reply sheet.
