RTW after Long Term Shielding - Rehab Hours?

So, basically what the topic title says.

Can you request to be placed on Rehab Hours after being off work for so long due too Covid/Vulnerable Shielding?

I'll be returning to work after being off for months.

Am going to be more than a little rusty.....Think I'll be out of breath just putting my uniform on.

You could ask but I suspect they would only pay for hours worked.
My concern would be more of what working environment I would be returning back to?

There’s lots of complacency at my workplace, if on deliveries I would personally be starting later and doing the late morning/ afternoon shift (if available).

I'd say unless you have a very very understanding manager the chances are 0 to slim.
Like ihateD2d's said they would be expecting you to work all paid hours.
Even with O/H referrals rehab plans are usually taking with a pinch of salt by managers in my experience.

Not a chance of rehab hours. You weren't sick and could easily have kept your fitness levels up whilst shielding. Obviously I do not know the nature of your condition but to get to the point that you'll be out of breath getting dressed is very poor, did you think you would be shielding forever?

Moving on...
Going on to rehab is not a willy nilly thing, OHS would have to be involved as does your DR or consultant ect.
You need to be referred by your manager.

I would assume all people that had to shield have had at least one jab and now have some protection from Covid.
