In january almost every branch in the UK will be holding their AGMs.

I urge every single members on here to put a motion to their AGM calling for their branch to offer major financial support for Burslem!!

This would send a united message to Royal Mail and let them know we will not see our colleagues bullied.

This battle may only be in one unit but if the cwu lose it here (in possible strongest office in uk) then we will all be sitting ducks.

Times are hard for all of us but remember these guys are out to protect the rights we take for granted. Lets make sure we help them carry on what truly is an inspirational david versus goliath battle!!

They'll be about as much use as a pisspot with a hole.

Another thing, what in blue blazes do these 200 managers do when not scabbing? As if by magic, hey presto! 200, yes, 200, so-called managers will be transported to Burslem. These, errrrm, managers, if they're not going to be missed in their own offices and MCs, what would stop Royal Mail from getting rid of 'em after their sojourn in Burslem? .........Hang on, do I really care what happens to 'em? Like hell I do.

:cfo :lfo Rowdy is on the money. The posties of Burslem have guts in abundance. The case against them is that the suspended 9 have B&H'd their colleagues in the workplace. If that were true how come 77% of the office vote for strike action in support of the 9. In other words 77% of the bullied vote to be bullied some more. Cheers for that info baldrick. We all get our xmas bonus this week and I know that I wasn't the only one who got a good pay last week so I'm sure we can afford a little bit each for those striking at Burslem. They will need all they can get and deserve every penny we can give them.

Solidarity is not a swear word.

Of course everyone who is complaining about the strike on here are not aware that the CWU and the Burlsem posties all say that they will immediately call off the strike as long as Royal Mail agree to have an independent review of the suspensions. Put pressure on Royal Mail to do this and everyone will get their mail in time for Christmas simple. On the ones that say if you don't like the way your treated get another job, good job you were not around in 1939 or we might be speaking German - if you disagree with something don't accept it and move on stand, up for yourself or bullies win. Solidarity is not a swear word.

There are some days , When we have around 7 managers in are office...So im sure that royal mail can aford to send 200 to burslem

Lovejoy, more like Hatton V Mayweather mate. Personally i'll support any good cause but i dont condone bullying by management OR colleagues.
Its a constant struggle to get the right balance but you have to be realistic and fight battles you can win at any given time.
Management just stare at statistics and if one particular office is costing them more, far more than any equivalent office it sticks out like a big sore thumb.
As Ricky Hatton found out you cant punch above your weight, not for long.
