Good Friday Dispatch Query

Asking as a customer here, although I work within Royal Mail.

I understand that there are collections in Scotland on Good Friday, but is there a full 1C/T24 dispatch from the Scottish mail centres to the rest of the UK, eg. If an item was posted 1C in Scotland on Good Friday with a destination of say Leeds or London, would it (in theory) be delivered on Easter Saturday?

A T24 possibly, but not guaranteed. Royal Mail gets around it by saying that next day delivery for 24 tracked is an aim, not a guarantee.

Cheers. I’m assuming there has to be a dispatch to all areas for the Saturday specials, and to the COVID hubs. Not sure if they would run all the flights etc but the mail has to get from A to B somehow....
