you can use a cycle to and from work
not during rm withdrew all cycle duties
you go out on a cycle during duty your not insured
if you come of cycle during duty and suffered injury you would not receive sick pay as it would be your fault
You get it !!!! Why don’t other people?? :arrrghhh
How about if I ride my bike into town to get something in my morning break before going out on delivery? That would be 'in royal mail time'. ?

If Royal Mail are paying You while You are on a break I would think that You are to abide by their rules which say no bikes.Do what You want on a bike before You sign into work and after You sign out.

It's a moot point whether we think it's a sensible rule.
It's a rule.
End of conversation really.
