best ones i have ever hads was these

1 I misdeliver a letter to the wrong address, the bloke came out, effing and blinding and saying that the sorted should all be shot and how lazy, useless they are, and then told me it wasn't my fault i was doing a grand job it was the others morons, and he was a vicar as well, I was shocked

2 Delivered to an old lass who came schreeching about me posting a letter in her door, which wasn't her name, she then demanded that i should do with it what i should do, as it was address to her address tho not her name, i redelivered, she started screaming at me but shuts up when i told her that as i didn't know who lives their then i would be committing a illegal act and as she was telling me to do so, she would be my accomplise, and if caught she get done as well. since then shes been nice as pie to me

3 went to collect a bag from someone porch, broke a vase by accident, so i knocked on the door to tell her, and shes wouldn't have it as my fault, shes blame my van driver, as he was leaving the next day, my manager saw no reason to correct her

4 collecting a pouch from a pouch box which was next to a poxbox, an old lass gave me a letter address to london, ask me to sort it out, so i did, posted it in the letterbox, shes then had a reet go at me, untill i explained i just deliver letters not collect

5 had various old people men and women come to door, had one really lovely lass come to the door to sign something, unbuttoned her top two buttons and then bent over, that was my best moment, sigh, she moved now*sobs

There is a positive about porches thou, No reason to leave a card left

Just plonk the parcel in the porch and to the next house we go 1 parcel lighter ;)

Two bulky 'flat's and it's near on impossible to fit the damn things in - what a piece of crap they are too!
Sometimes, if it rains, and the flat's poking out it get's wet through.
The miserable ones ring in and complain instead of buying a suitably sized box.
DOM's patronise them and pull over the postie as if it's deliberate.

I had one of those after 3 or 4 Forms lefts with notes saying flats too large and would have been left exposed to passers by the moved in to under cover and got a large one.
