Hello all does anyone know rules ( laws ) re self isolating while working for royal mail?
I ask as in our office some have been told it must be taken as annual leave or you will not be payed.
Is this correct?

I have self-isolated twice in the last year and got paid both times.

The situation is constantly changing, and you should check this guidance for the latest advice on this area. The current position is that employees could be isolating for 10 days and this could be extended if they develop symptoms during self-isolation.
If employees are not able to work from home during self-isolation, absences should be treated as sickness

You will get paid.Your line manager will mark your absence as COVID related.
