Nice spin that 91 percent of union members voted for it.
It's a bit kind to call it spin.
It's a downright lie.
48% of eligible CWU members voted in favour of the agreement.
52% either voted against it or didn't vote.

If this was an IA ballot guys like Martin would quite rightly be all over statements like that.

Now he and the rest of the union via Facebook are posting it up as factual information, draw your own conclusions.
Brexit all over again lol

Pay increase will be implemented from 26th February with back pay also due on that date. So at a rough estimate that must be about 47 weeks back pay. From 26th of February onwards you will receive your new enhanced standard rate of pay weekly as normal. They don’t pay what the increase is worth between Feb 26th and end of March 2021 in advance if that’s what you are asking.

Do we get the 2.6% or one hour off the working week we did not get in the last deal of the century?

I’ll be interested to see how accurate they are with the backdated pay. I assume it’s as simple as taking my yearly pay to date, minus the COVID/Xmas bonus and working out 2.7% of it?
The day is gonna come when we’re all gonna have to testify.

It will be 2.7% of your weekly basic x number of weeks (probably 47). You should get a bit of OT backpay too if you have done any.

Not that straight forward, the pension deductions will not change, also driving allowance and any other grandfather payments will also not increase. the Christmas and covid bonus will not be increased so a simple multiplication of your basic take home pay will not be accurate. I presume the Delivery supplements will increase though.

I’d expect a lot of OT back pay. I’ve averaged approximately 50 hours (my contracted hours are 25) so I make it in the region of £600.

In the past it’s always been broken down into individual elements on your pay slip. Arrears of basic pay, arrears of overtime, arrears of S/A etc. Basically every payment increased by the pay rise will be listed individually. All done automatically by computer so should be 100 per cent accurate.

Will Angard employees get this pay rise? If so does anyone know when?
