Wonder if anyone can enlighten me on this. I understand 400 delivery offices will undergo a structural revision and the rest will get a table top revision.
1. What’s the difference between the two?
2. Has a list of offices which are getting the full structural revision been released yet?

A full office re-pick would be good in my office.

Thanks Yellowbelly for supplying that link to an old post.
Found my old post from 4 years ago!
I think we're going to have to have a lot more information regarding Table Top revisions, as most Delivery Offices are going to need them in the near future.
The point raised about involving more "Junior" Reserves and PTers is VERY valid.
They have no hidden agendas, and it's in their interest to get ALL the Duties they cover as fair & equal as posssible. Duty Holders just want to Feather their own nests and will always plead that they're hard done by.
Our Unit Rep is already in the process of collecting info from the Reserves. He is not giving as much credit to the info provided by well known "Runners" (as they are as big a threat to their colleagues as an Over Zealous DOM ..... out to impress his Boss)!

I think I’m right in saying a full re-pick is only triggered if a certain percentage of duties in a unit are changed. If a table top revision only leads to a little bit of tinkering with duties it’s not likely to result in a re-pick. The agreement does state that they don’t envisage the annual revisions leading to significant change.

Yes, that is true. However.....Zicomurphy wrote: ↑21 Jan 2021, 20:07I think I’m right in saying a full re-pick is only triggered if a certain percentage of duties in a unit are changed. If say, 10% of duties get changed, mostly because they are too big. There will be a clamour amongst the senior staff to trigger a repick if they think for one minute that the changed duties are now easier than their current duty. Happens every time.

Revisions won’t be put in place because your employer is a benevolent kindly soul. It will be done to maximise your efficiency in your working day. Whilst they aim to even out duties in their content, it is very difficult to even out the terrain, which most of us know when even a lighter duty can be a mare if there are hills, long drives and steps involved.
