It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

How about "Thermal Jackets" or "Blue Thermal Jackets", Thats the most sensible bit of kit we ever had and has never been reissued in any shape or form. I used to love my Blue Thermal jacket wore It almost all the time and the Red and blue waterproofs weren't too bad either, At least you didn't sweat out 50% off your body fluid in them unlike these new Orange Stormproof jackets we have now, There bloody useless might as well wear feck all, Get soaked whether you wear It (sweat), or not(piss saturated)..Am I right or am I just a sweaty betty...lol

Holy thread ressurection Batman!!! Yeah the orange coats are sheeeite. I got absolutely soaked today as the rain found those tricky bits RM put in with no waterproofing at all.

Huzzah! I'll have a cold for a month!

Hey be carefull you could get a stage 1...2 or even bloody 3..Yea the Jackets are made in Germany apparently and pure sheeeet..Think they ought to stick to making cars, Good job my Passat doesn't leak as much as the jackets do...heehee. I have suggested many times that RM issue a kagool like jacket that you can fold into itself and just stick in your pouch just in case you get caught out... Ideal when Its hot and you have showers like were having right now..I'm sure RM can afford £3 for these jackets .. Tell you what, I'll askallen.com he might be able to buy us some with his "small change"..lol

A few years ago all the posties in our office were given a lightweight showerproof jacket, it came out of the 1st line fix money. Oh and a thermos water bottle someone nicked mine off my frame.

How about flea ridden 'Hessian Sack' those things stunk to high heaven!
