you need a test and you need to isolate, you can order a postal test which arrives next day, you will get an email back within 1 hr of ordering with an order number, give this to manager and let you rep know.
You don't get tested if you don't have symptoms.
This is wrong. You can get a test even if you have no symptoms & you should get tested if you've been working with anybody that has tested positive to confirm if you have or haven't been infected.
I know several people who have got themselves tested in a similar situation.
EDIT - Just to add on because I've seen a couple of you mention you only get a test with no symptoms
"if you've been asked to", a bit of common sense is needed particularly in this instance. You don't need anybody to tell you to get tested if you've been sharing a vehicle with them for at least a week I presume in the run up to their positive test.
Or don't get tested, your choice, either way you shouldn't be in work until you either get a negative test result or until your self isolation period has ended.
