Did I miss something?
Since when were Royal Mail interested in fair?
Does everyone work the same number of Saturdays?
Why would Sunday be any different?
Some of you guys are very funny.
You're all getting way ahead of yourselves anyway.
It'll take the removal of Sunday premium before any duties are made up with Sunday included and that could be a fight in itself.

Re: Sunday working
That’s my concern too. If Sunday working comes in and months/years down it becomes mandatory not voluntary I have a funny feeling apart from new starters who will have Sunday working written into their contracts, that it will be the same group who constantly get shafted who will be working more Sundays than everyone else.Woody Guthrie wrote: ↑28 Dec 2020, 09:05Did I miss something?

The part timers, those without duties, the same ones who get pro rata this that and everything, who are fighting to get their average holiday pay.
Apart from annual leave I’ve been given just 1 Saturday off this year - yes you guessed it, Saturday just gone. In fact I’ve very kindly been given the long weekend (Boxing day and today), only my 2nd long weekend in 5 years here, typical that it falls on the bank holiday right? It’s almost like they planned it ;-) All the floaters/PT have been given the long weekend too.
If I can’t get out of Sunday working on religious grounds (I play guitar in the church band) I’d accept taking my turn if it was a fair rota. That does not mean working 48 out of 52 Sunday’s a year, with the other 4 being annual leave.
The day is gonna come when we’re all gonna have to testify.
