My gut feeling is that RM will eventually look at adding an hour or two to the working week as it would save them money on ot

Why would you want to reduce overtime when it's paid at less than standard rate?

Why did the last agreement which they broke have 33 pages of text and this one only have 12?

The one hour off working week will not happen.
The bullying will not stop.
The attendance procedure will still be abused my RM Managers.
The work load will increase & more mail will fail.
But the agreement will be voted in, for most a £500-600 back dated payment to good to ignore!
But your be paying for it in 6 months!!

but right now we should actually be working 36 hours per week not 38
Very right and correct the agreement that time and Royal mail the CWU and most Posties forgot!
I'm sure RM will give us the further reductions by next October when there non-penny pinching revisions are complete. :funneh

I think this is the most likely scenario

The extra hour off the working week didn't happen last time round because the company didn't make the savings it needed. What's changed??

Letters declined, particularly in April of this year, but parcels have gone through the roof. Add on postbox collections and these customer collections and I don't believe there is scope for an additional hour off of the working week.

So what happens? Will managers actually pay staff overtime to get the undelivered work delivered or will they do the usual and leave it sat their in the frames? My guess is the later and I believe that some managers will get away with USO failures like they do now and everything will be geared around savings.

Apparently PDA actuals and clocking in machines won't be used against you so jobs a good un.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

The very fact of this so called agreement released at this time was not tidings of joy but burying the bad news now and hoping everyone has forgot it by new year. Sorry has not worked sussed it out before everyone else did, This is not just an abrogation of the four pillars agreement in 2018 but of our fundamental rights as workers we bloody deserve better than this! This is a sham of a deal even the managers can only put some unknown prat before us to tell it is in our best interests sorry not buying that one. If it that good a deal why are they still miles apart poor deal piss poor press announcement a guy who I never set eyes on telling me it's the best deal since 1939 why do I not believe them! One because they broke the last deal I have little faith in those who betray me or the words of false hope and if there is one thing we do know history will repeat it's self!

What is wrong with union they don't listen some people on here in the union don't listen accusations fly out of their own mouths but very few answers. Don't get me wrong unions are good for people in the terms of unity they do very little when they go against the people who pay their wages!

This agreement is an absolute and utter disgrace.
Why on earth should we vote yes to an agreement that still has outstanding issues which have to be negotiated? But will be rubber stamped by this vote? Really???
Attendance patterns??? Oh, don't worry whatever we the union hierarchy agree in future on your behalf will be part of this agreement!
Where is the unions negotiating position if the management know that whatever is agreed cannot be thrown out by the memberships?
I don’t think so!! It is a resounding no vote from me.
It doesn’t matter how or for how long you polish it and they have had month upon month to polish this one. A turd will always be a turd.
Pullinger, resign and take the negotiating team that came up with this crock of shite with you.
