THE PATHWAY TO CHANGE!

Post by k979aaa »

Since when have RM agreed too implement any of this s**t they come up with? All this for 3.7% over two years and people eyes light up but look at the detail it is a sad time when the culture of the business is a glossed over one paragraph. I shall be against this so called deal and it is best described as an abomination of a bad deal and we must resit this huge concessions for little gain on the workers part!

6.5% when you add your hour off
Amazing deal with job security

How many people out there working have that the now +
Paid tea break and sick pay

Plus yearly revision with your manager working with your rep
Both are key decision makers on all of the agreements in office

Let's all work together and turn this company around
We've all done great keeping the pressure on RMG gate meeting and the ballot,
They seen we were going no where and were up for change asswell

Merry Christmas folks :Very Happy :nana

is this all you ever say in your comments ; if you dont like it then leave : why would you leave with nothing from this company in your pocket and are they offering vrs ? i f***ing hope so because i can see this being voted in with posties being brainwashed by the pay deal and the back pay , and can you ever see dims and reps ever working together to even the deliverys up or to change the culture in offices , and isnt the 1 hour off not guranteed unless you can save the hours in your office ? i for one will be voting NO and then pulling my union subs .

nothing in your pocket?, theyve paid you for the work you did( and you probably finished early) so why is everyone obsessed with getting extra money to leave? It just seems wrong to me.

Just be glad we still have a job considering whats happened this year. This deal is good, we just can't get everything we want without giving RM something. End of I'm happy that I still have a job as I was a bit put off by all the job cut rumours the past few months. :thumbup

everyone has there own opinion on this deal , but do you really think that the company who wanted 10,000 - 20,000 jobs gone have changed there mind ? , like i say this will be voted in just because of the pay deal , then s**t will hit the fan and i will put money on that .

Merry Xmas everyone. Busiest Xmas in my 22 years in the job but my office got there in the end and delivered everything there was to deliver. Handsomely rewarded in my last 3 pays for extra work performed so no issues there either. Back on topic, I just don't understand the negativity of all the people who want to pick holes and find fault with the agreement. Yes, we have seen it all before and cynics will hark back to the 4 Pillars agreement blah blah blah. At this moment though it all boils down to this
1) We are getting a pay rise
2) No one is being made redundant
3) Everyone recognizes that change is required
4) A fantastic opportunity to prosper awaits in the parcel market if we adapt to and embrace changes required.

Let's wait and see what happens in the future before we start moaning and accept the deal on the table as it stands and move on.

12 Pages really one paragraph about culture of the business and half a page about pay the rest of this so called agreement is what YOU have to do to earn it and even then it is not guaranteed. What kind of deal is this non of the four pillars have been agreed in this deal this whole agreement is a charter for bullying and harassment to continue nay even grow in this business. This agreement is the least amount of detail in the longest running dispute we have ever had the very lack of detail tells you all you need to know about this so called deal. I say this deal is a steaming pile of s**t which even does not deserve our time reading it least yet our support in implementing it too it's fruition!

Some of us work for a living and want the best for us all for doing it while others sit meekly and watch and let others fight for them or just do nothing and hide under the sofa!

exactly, i regularly do a walk and half, and get paid a walk half. im just grateful i have a job and dont see the point of whining. Between working hours your paid to do what your told to do Theres nothing to fight about. if you dont want to do it then find somewhere else to do what you want to is my thoughts

When people get paid £6 million for very little where is my cut of the deal. I don't need showing where the door is been here 35 plus years not grateful for defeatist attitudes when we can get a better deal!
