I think we're over complicating things with ticket machines etc.
All we actually should have to write on a P739 is the tracking number of the item or in the case of 2D standard parcels an equivalent code produced by the PDA when we submit no answer.
There shouldn't be any need to fill out names and addresses and times etc when the system already holds that information.
The customer takes the code and ID to the callers office and gets their parcel, how difficult is that?

A late request for the PDA update.
As well as "Safeplace not available or not safe", can we also have "Delivery to neighbour refused as the neighbour is pissed off with endlessly being asked to take in parcels for someone who orders a pile of s**t but is never in to receive the delivery" - or words to that effect.

Will never happen. AFAIK all RM arctics have got trackers on them. Probably only a matter of time before literally every RM vehicle has a Tracker on it. Wouldn't surprise me to see the HCTs have trackers installed as well

And rightly so, I think they have a panic button in them as well. A trailer full of parcels would be worth a fortune.SpacePhoenix wrote: ↑20 Dec 2020, 21:39Will never happen. AFAIK all RM arctics have got trackers on them.

Whenever I need to use the PDA you do the old switch the screen on and then swipe up. Half the time when you do the scroll up thing it doesn't want to do it, so you have to turn the screen off and on and the 2nd time it will usually swipe up ok.
Sort this out so it works first time, please!
