Why should they only be for Businesses?

What about the people on Late Shifts?
What about people who have booked half a day to wait in for a package?

They are just two examples, I'm sure there are many more.

I think that they should be encouraging more people to use the 9am Specials, and they should do something to make it possible to deliver them ALL on time. All they need to do, is go back to the original start times. It just means that they will have to reinstate the Night Shifts. All this talk of slower 7.5 Tonners causing the later starts is simply a smoke screen. It's the removal of Night Shifts that is causing the delays.

i am on a rural at xmas we have 30 mins extra ips before our prep .if we get a 9oclock special we have to break off our prep deliver it return to office then back on prep .finnish deivery at 1900hrs today 15 hrs duty the DOM says we are taking the piss but he wont arrange specials to be taken out and is objecting to us having our early saturday starts back :evil/mad

Drivers do the 9am ones in my office, we don't get many but most of them are late going out. Managers have been making us walk posties take all the 1pm Specials out tho, even although we don't officially finish our walks till past 2pm. Last two days I've had a Special for the end of my walk and both times I have failed the 1pm deadline. What a farce, talk about throwing business away, these customers won't come back!..Guaranteed MY ARSE. :lfo :cfo
