Ha, you and me both, mate. Shall we tell the taxmen about our colleagues?

If you're anything like our drivers, you deserve fook all. Going home at 12 while I'm still out at 4.30, because you cnuts won't take anything out that fits in a bag.

We have drivers throwing out packets, a recipe for aggro.

Seriously, that is bad taste & there's no excuse for it :no no :no no :no no IMHO you should not have the right to call yourself a postman, if you are a union member I hope you find out what "union" means....even if "Barry" isn't union, or a scab or whatever, you should not stoop so low!

Anyway, to get back on topic, I got a Bobby yesterday ( from the same customer that gave me similar last year - top fella! ) and two Lady's today......all of them from the same road ( 28 drops )!
I don't suppose your mouth bleeds every 28 days, does it?

this time each year we get a Christmas card ( the cheapest money can buy ) from our milkman and I'm sure this is a ploy to boost his tips. Do any postmen on regular walks do this and, if so, does it pay off ?

I done it last year - charity cards from Tesco, and all signed "From your postman." This year doing the same, but personalising all the cards and signing it with my own name.

I'd only been on the walk since early October & made £350 :dance

A few in my office have been known to send out cards to every address on their delivery. IMO it does work and you can earn out of doing it.Personally its not for me as i see it as a bit like begging.I do however try to remember to send a card with a thank you message to people who give me a tip, however my memory aint that great and i am a lazy bastard, so sometimes dont get round to it. My intentions are good tho!

Talking and smiling helps.......

Post by ray of sunshine »

Came back last week from a strained tendon and i already have made £35.
Next month i have been on my walk for 15 yrs
So most know me and some try to duck and dive me especially xmas eve.
But what made my day last week
A customer opened the door before i had chance to post his mail through the box and gave me a card.
Inside was a £20 and written in the card was:
"Thank you postie for being happy go lucky and look forward to the same next year!"
I got 4 bottles of wine last year and told my dim it pays to talk
As he thinks we shouldnt talk to any customers and just carry on walking :no no :no no :no no
see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil
