Re: 26th December
So someone who is Saturday off is working next to someone who is Wednesday off. Person who is Wednesday off comes in on their day off and gets paid £90. They work the same days as 'Saturday off person' and both get Saturday off.
Wednesday off person is £90 better off.
IS THIS FAIR? Anyone with half a brain would say no. Surely.

Sums the union up as usual, they give all the talk on Facebook about what they are going to do. But when paying members are getting stitched up they do nothing. Fat cats looking after themselves as usual.

What I'm saying is, if your on a rolling day off, when you are off sick for a week, royal mail don't say ' you can have the day off you missed through being sick next week' where as on a Wallington week you still get that day off when your rota week comes round.

This is the CWU all over, they are good at putting on a performance on Facebook but what do the do. When a real issue where their members need help comes around they are no where to be seen.

Re: 26th December
Maybe you're ok with having Saturday as your day off that week............ unless you're not Saturday off of course then of course you would be fine as you're getting an extra day off.aiden01 wrote: ↑06 Dec 2020, 19:32Get over it ffs might fall your way some year.rambo1 wrote: ↑06 Dec 2020, 10:37So someone who is Saturday off is working next to someone who is Wednesday off. Re: 26th December
Totally unfair. Everybody else works 3 days Xmas week with a day off and boxing day, meanwhile people who's day off falls on boxing Day are working a 4 day week and have nothing to show for having to work an extra day. And someone can get paid for working their day off that week also!
Brainless union.

It might be unfair, but blame your employer, not the "union".SF wrote: ↑08 Dec 2020, 07:09Totally unfair. Re: 26th December
So what is the unions purpose then? Oh that's right, they are too busy working on their social media image and blowing important strike action with their crap.sindba wrote: ↑08 Dec 2020, 18:46It might be unfair, but blame your employer, not the "union".SF wrote: ↑08 Dec 2020, 07:09Totally unfair. Re: 26th December
As it happens it’s fell well for me this year as my Rota day that week is the Monday. Completely agree that it’s unfair on others. We should either all be working the four days that week or each be allocated one of the days off to make it 3. How this has slipped through I’ll never know. Well actually I do, the union is incompetent but we already knew that.
