As any other office apart from [office name deleted] had anybody put on an attendance stage for been on sick with coronavirus

We have had approximately 8 staff test positive and 40 having to self isolate through Test and Trace in last 4 months. As far as I’m aware we all triggered a stage warning BUT none were issued

How long do you need to be off to trigger a stage?

I was off work for 14 days as per the COVID App warning to self isolate but I think it’s 4 absences or 14 days in a year that triggers a stage 1 warning but someone can correct me please if I’m wrong ?

Think it is something like that. AFAIK the triggering of stages is automatic, it's down to if the manager actually issues a stage

You are correct 4 absences or 14 days in a 12 month period.

Just dont ever sign a stage warning. You only sign to agree with conversation and the outcome. I never sign anything.

To issue they need to fact find? they they need substantive facts they can can come too conclusions if they cannot substantiate the facts on hear say and other matters like frequency. But these are unsubstantiated they can issue the warning but if it was taken to a tribunal it would go in the favour who can produce the most facts of the case hence why you should attend interviews with a rep or anyone and only sign if the facts are correct!
