I took a 20 minute break and claimed half an hour extra at the end of my duty. My understanding is that if you go over 11 hours you are entitled to an extra 10 minutes but I might be wrong if anyone would like to correct me.

Our little D.O. hit the 1000 mark for tracked for the first time in history.
If you take the average number of Tracked per day that you would normally get, multiply it by 3 and perhaps add on 100-200 and that's probably going to be about what you'll get Tracked per day during the main part of Xmas pressure
Wrong

My office is hitting 9,000+ a day thats more than 4 times. We love it, we all get on with it, we all work on if that's what it takes all gets booked of course. We don't collapse walks ever as our boss inputs the figures correctly and doesn't fiddle them to try and impress the dimwit above.

prep to a certain time, tie up and leave. bring back if I need to but 99% I have judged it ok for 5hours delivery.
Some houses get mail 3 times a week if they are lucky.
Not even wasting my time asking for any help as it's already been allocated to the noisy ones.

Yes always take me at least that at the minute. Started 6:30 finished 15:35 today
We have people out until 6:30 in some of our offices (7:00 - 6:30 - that includes gen sorting, prep and deliver)
one guy 8pm last wednesday with double mail

We all just crack on with it and happy to do so as we always get left alone. busy or not. We have good times during the summer! :nana
Good times in the summer! Not so sure it’s obviously not like now but we have extra lapsing and regularly finish late, the job is getting worse every year

I worked 6 days last week clocking up 57 hours. i'm a 25 hr part timer. next week i'm down as spare starting at 12 o'clock so i'll be out in the dark. shafted again by management, looks like i'll be doing my 5 hours a day and bringing back what doesn't get delivered. also when i get there it will be a case of no PDA's. Start on time, take my break, finish on time. Prioritize Specials and Tracks as told, see what else I can get done, bring rest back. Not my problem.

We've got more lorries than loading bays atm, so some runs will be late. Also every lorry needs to be full, sleeves and yorks will be getting condensed to maximise the amount of mail on each run

Weird that, best guess is that the xmas casuals haven't been told about the difference between SDs and non SDs

They did away with that when they brought in lapsing
