Ram raiders smash into post office

Ram raiders smashed through the front of a post office in the early hours of today.

The crooks have left the building in Lindfield High Street, near Haywards Heath, severely damaged following the attack at 1.27am.

A 4x4 vehicle believed to have been used by the raiders was abandoned at the scene.

Sussex Police were called immediately after the raid and have sealed off the road between Lewes Road and the junction with Chaloners Road.

The force said it was unclear at this stage whether anything had been taken.

They have asked for anyone with information about the incident to call them on 0845 6070999.

That's taking a complaint too far. I mean, we know that 'Armani' and his like wind us up insisting that we buy home insurance, when we only want a stamp, take out a mortgage when we only want to re-new our car tax, and if the counter staff start saying "Have a nice day", well I won't be responsible.
I think the reason that nothing was taken is that there's nothing in the post office worth nicking these days.
Unless of course it was Al & Ad, trying to dismantle the network one brick at a time...
