I would say that, yes the Postal Workers on this site are fed up. I would also say that we don't hear from the ones who aren't because as soon as they post they are bullied off the forum. I'm all for debate and opinions, I love them and I don't think anyone should be banned from a site. As long as they aren't offensive, racist or sexist. All I am pointing out is that a handfull of posters dominate this site. As I said, I'm not pro RM or RM management, I just like to hear what other people have to say too. If only to strengthen the arguement against them. I understand some staff like to come on here to rant or let off steam. I would say rant and let off steam at work, where it is productive. Doing it on a forum will gain nothing. The other point I would make is that, yes, I would say a lot of posters are unhappy, but the majority of union members accepted this pay deal. This was something I really, and honestly, didn't expect to happen from reading the posts on this site. Could it be we are becoming out of touch? I really hope not.

If you’re all for debate and you enjoy hearing different opinions,
Why say rant and let off steam at work, where you say it’s productive?
That has not been my experience nor is it my opinion, Can you expand on what you mean productive?

you say "If only to strengthen the arguement against them."
Or learn something that you didn’t know!

You say "Doing it on a forum will gain nothing."
Why is this?
It’s good to talk as you say.

You say "The other point I would make is that, yes, I would say a lot of posters are unhappy, but the majority of union members accepted this pay deal.

Well sorry again, but I expected a yes vote, for a number of reasons.

You say "Could it be we are becoming out of touch? I really hope not"

I don’t think so, makes you think why was there a yes vote, I certainly don’t think it was for the reason that RM think.

So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat

I back NO one up. But I do like to hear what everyone has to say. If the site is open to all then thats fine. If theres some clause that says its ok to call someone a company twat then I must have missed that one. However, I don't see why I should be singled out as connected with management because I can use words longer than eight letters.

By productive I meant, actually facing the aggravation head on. Ranting on a forum at the nearest person who doesn't agree with you, all because your pissed off with work isn't exactly productive, nor is it talking.
Yes, there is definately the scope and oportunity to learn something new, in some cases, but that is not likely to be given the chance to happen. I'm sure many people expected a yes vote, I don't think you were the only one. The majority of people on here, in my opinion, didn't. I don't know what the reasons for the 'yes' vote were. I know I will never find out on this site.

Ps Thanks for the support Night Tonic, but alas it's a lost cause. :silenced
